Here is what is available for delivery on Saturday, Aug. 17.  

My favorite nectarine - the Red Gold - is available this week.  I recommend it very highly.  I will have full boxes available as well as boxes that are half and half Red Gold nectarines and SunCrest peaches.

Yakima Valley tomatoes are in full production now so I should be able to get plenty of vine ripened tomatoes.

All items listed below are new crop unless noted as being 2012 crop.

Red Gold Nectarine This is my personal favorite nectarine.  It has great flavor and texture and is freestone so it is easy to can, freeze or dry. 22 lb. box for $21 ($0.95/lb)   Half and half Red Gold/SunCrest Peach 22 lb. box for $23 ($1.05/lb)

Peaches  All three peaches available this week are freestone and suitable for canning, fresh eating, freezing and drying. Roza Hale - Medium size. Suncrest - Can be up to softball size. Elegant Lady - Medium size.   22 lb box for $21. ($0.95/lb) I will have peaches and nectarines available every week for the next 6 weeks.  Elberta peaches will be ready around Labor Day.

Tomatoes Tomato harvest is in full swing so there should be plenty of vine ripened tomatoes available this week.  #1 Tomatoes - 20# box for $20 ($1/lb)   #2 Canning tomatoes - same varieties as the #1 tomatoes but with imperfections - 25# box for $17 ($0.68/lb)   #1 Roma tomatoes - 20# box for $20 ($1/lb)   #2 canning Romas - these are odd shaped or have imperfections - 25# box for $17 ($0.68/lb)

Bartlett Pears Pears are about a week early this year and I will have them available for 3 to 4 more weeks. 28 lb. box for $16 ($0.57/lb)
